Kaycie has 16 years of risk engineering and technical underwriting experience. Ms. Cook started her career as a loss control risk engineer for Marsh Risk Consulting and AIG Global Marine and Energy specializing in real estate, renewable fuels and heavy manufacturing until joining Liberty International Underwriters (LIU) in 2007.  She worked eight years as a field engineer for LIU becoming the subject matter expert for renewable fuels and natural gas plants. Her focus at Liberty extended to refining, petrochemical, power generation and construction loss control.

After LIU, Ms. Cook joined the builders risk team of Ironshore, underwriting technical construction risks including civil, oil and gas, petrochemical, traditional MNC construction, renovations, and wood frame multi-use residential projects. Ms. Cook was responsible for managing a book of technical builders risk projects before leaving to start the builders risk unit at Catalytic in October 2019. At Catalytic, Ms. Cook is responsible for the development and execution of the Builders Risk production and underwriting strategy.  The Catalytic Builders Risk program became operational in April 2020. She has a Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Safety Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University in 2004.
