Catalytic Risk Managers will look to offer All Risk coverage for builders risk projects on a non-admitted basis initially and moving to admitted once established in the marketplace. We write our wood frame book of wholesale broker teams with limited retail broker access to our energy, civil and CLT business. We insure commercial contractors and owners with our own or pre-agreed manuscript forms to cover the following physical damage All Risk coverage for the following classes of business:

  • Wood Frame (wholesale only)
  • Civil (General Infrastructure)
  • Energy – Oil and Gas and Renewable Energy
  • Construction All Risk (“CAR”)

Target Builders Risk Accounts:

  • Multi-family Residential Housing
  • Senior Housing and Assisted Living
  • Student Housing
  • Single Family High Value Homes over $5M in value
  • Cross Laminated Timber
  • Roads - widening and improvements
  • Bridges - traditional overpasses and box-girder bridges
  • Solar
  • Bio-renewable Energy (Proven technology only)
  • Compressor stations with or without cut and cover pipelines
  • Cryogenic gas plants
  • Natural gas plant expansions
  • Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) plants
  • Terminals or tank farms including loading docks, bulkheads and gantries

Excluded Classes and Exposures:

  • Wood frame projects UNDER $20M in total contract values
  • Wood frame projects in Tier 1 or 2 counties from Texas to North Carolina
  • Modular Construction
  • Home Developments
  • High Wildfire exposure
  • Mono-line flood
